This privacy policy applies to the DiffDiff app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Pixel Port LLC (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

Information Collection and Use

The Application does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on servers operated by the Service Provider. The Application makes no network requests to any server operated by the Service Provider. Registration and accounts are not required to play.

The Application creates and stores gameplay data on your device as you play, including:

  • A display name that you choose (optional)
  • Your total experience points (XP), hint balance, and active theme
  • Daily streak information
  • Per-level best stars, best score, best time, and attempt counts
  • Per-mode statistics such as accuracy and reaction times
  • Daily challenge results (date, score, time, accuracy, completion)
  • App settings (sound on/off, haptics on/off, notifications on/off)

This data is stored on your device and is not transmitted to the Service Provider.

iCloud Sync

If you are signed into iCloud on your device, the Application uses Apple's CloudKit to sync your gameplay data across your own devices via your personal iCloud account. This data is stored in your private iCloud container (iCloud.com.alexa.diff.diff.pixelport.app.DiffDiff) and is not accessible to the Service Provider. Apple's iCloud terms and privacy policy govern the storage and transmission of this data. You can stop iCloud sync at any time by signing out of iCloud or disabling iCloud access for the Application in your device's Settings.

Game Center

The Application integrates with Apple Game Center for optional leaderboards, achievements, and real-time head-to-head matches with friends. If you choose to sign into Game Center:

  • Your cumulative score (total XP) and daily challenge score are submitted as integers to Apple's leaderboards.
  • Your Game Center display name and player identifier are visible to other players on leaderboards and during matches.
  • For head-to-head matches, the Application uses your Game Center friends list so you can invite friends. No friend data is transmitted to or stored by the Service Provider.
  • During a head-to-head match, your device communicates match state (random seeds, per-round correctness, reaction time in milliseconds, score, and combo multiplier) directly with your opponent's device via Apple's Game Center relay. The Service Provider does not operate, receive, or store any of this data.

Game Center is operated by Apple and governed by Apple's privacy policy. You can disable Game Center at any time in your device's Settings.

Sharing

If you tap a Share button inside the Application (for example, to share a puzzle challenge or scorecard), the Application prepares a share payload — a link or image containing your score and, if you are signed into Game Center, your Game Center display name — and passes it to Apple's system share sheet. You choose whether and where to share (Messages, Mail, social media, etc.). The Service Provider does not transmit shared content.

Notifications

With your permission, the Application schedules local notifications on your device to remind you about streaks and daily challenges. These are scheduled entirely on your device using Apple's local notification system. No push tokens are registered with any server, and no notification data is transmitted off your device. You can disable notifications at any time in the Application's Settings or in your device's system Settings.

Third Party Access

The Application does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, or telemetry services. It does not contain any third-party software development kits (SDKs). The only third parties involved in the operation of the Application are Apple-operated services (App Store, iCloud, Game Center, local notifications), which you use under your existing agreements with Apple.

The Service Provider may disclose information:

  • as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process;
  • when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

Advertising and Tracking

The Application does not display advertisements, does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA), and does not request App Tracking Transparency permission. The Application does not track you across other apps or websites.

Your Rights and Choices

Because all gameplay data is stored on your own device and in your own private iCloud account, you have direct control over it:

  • Access: Your profile, stats, and progress are visible inside the Application.
  • Delete local data: Tap "Reset progress" in the Application's Settings to erase your on-device gameplay data. Uninstalling the Application also removes its on-device data.
  • Delete iCloud data: Remove the Application from your iCloud data in iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage, or sign out of iCloud.
  • Leaderboards: Game Center scores are managed by Apple. You can leave leaderboards or reset your Game Center account through Apple's Game Center settings.

Data Retention

The Service Provider does not hold any of your personal data on its servers and therefore has nothing to retain on your behalf. Data stored on your device or in your private iCloud container remains until you delete it using the methods described above.

Children

The Application is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe that your child has provided personal information to the Service Provider, please contact pixelportllc@pm.me so that appropriate action can be taken.

Security

Because the Application does not transmit your data to the Service Provider's servers, there is no risk of your data being accessed on those servers. Data stored on your device is protected by Apple's built-in device encryption. Data synced to iCloud is protected by Apple's iCloud encryption in transit and at rest.

Future Changes

The Application currently does not offer in-app purchases, subscriptions, or advertising. If this changes in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe any additional data processing before such features are enabled. Purchases processed through Apple's App Store are handled by Apple under its own privacy policy.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-04-18.

Your Consent

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
